  • As co-owner of Total Mind & Body, I have over twenty years of experience providing clinical support and consultation in both the public and private school settings. I have also worked as part of a family stabilization team, as well as an outpatient therapist working with children, teens, and adults. My experience includes supporting children, teens, adults, and the family system with issues related to anxiety/panic, depression, and PTSD. I am also a certified mediator who can provide direct mediation services, facilitate a formal 30 hour mediation training, or provide mediation coaching as needed. There is no issue too small for mediation. My philosophy is that unresolved conflict takes up space and drains your energy, making it difficult to engage in experiences that bring you joy and satisfaction in your life.

In my work with children, teens and adults I utilize a strength based approach to treatment, combined with a solution focused action plan. At Total Mind & Body, we purposefully maintain a small number of clients so that we can maximize our time with you and help you to achieve your goals. The ultimate goal is to create more time and space in your life for the things that make you happy and bring you satisfaction. To that end, my goal is to help you achieve your intended outcomes through a concrete action plan with goals that are measurable and have concrete time-frames for attainment.

As a mediator, I pay careful attention to details and am an active listener. I possess a combined skill set of being a mediator as well as counselor, which allows me to effectively manage the emotions that can arise through mediation. I am highly skilled at de-escalation techniques, and always approach situations with a neutral unbiased lens. Again, any situation that is creating conflict in your life, and causing you to feel drained is worth taking the time to resolve.

A little bit about me..I earned a Master's degree in School Guidance Counseling from Cambridge College, and a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Saint Michael’s College in Vermont. I love being out in nature whether it is boating on the lake, spending time by the ocean, or enjoying a beautiful hike. I also love music, dancing, and have an appreciation for theater and the arts. I am a firm believer in self care, and work hard to prioritize fitness and meditation into my daily routines. When I am not working, I am living life and spending time with my husband, two teenage sons, and our beloved boxer, Oakley. These are the people in my life who fill me up and inspire me to be the best version of myself.

  • As a co-owner of Total Mind & Body, I bring over twenty years of experience in the special education field as both a Special Education Administrator and Educator. I earned a Master's degree in Moderate Disabilities from Cambridge College, and a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and Sociology from the University of Massachusetts Lowell.

When working with clients, I strive to highlight the importance of organization, time management, and identifying supportive relationships as foundational pieces in the learning process. By providing individualized support, a focus on self-confidence and strategy development, sessions result in executive function skill improvement, and an increased ability for each client to reflect and embrace their own unique learning style.

I am also a NASM certified Personal Trainer, and a PN Level 1 certified Nutrition Coach. I work with clients to identify sustainable lifestyle changes, designed to promote personal lifestyle improvement goals.

I rely on my twenty years of experience in education, coupled with my ongoing pursuit of professional development in fitness and nutrition to provide solution focused and client centered sessions.

When I am not working, you will find me pursuing my passion of fitness as an avid runner. I also enjoys spending time with my husband, teenage son, and boxer Dozer.
